After a very long time of living life through the eyes of others. Enough is enough!

I’ve got only a lifetime to live it .I might as well brace up and live it to the full. It is not too late to take charge right?

I am a woman,wife and mother,but I know there is more to me. I am adventurous,fiesty go-getter,I better go get my life.

I may not be able to get a plane ticket and fly to Dubai right now, I might as well hit the road and go watch the Argungu festival up North.

I may not yet  gain access to the platform at the North Sea Jazz@Rotterdam-This is one of my dream as a neosoul musician :-),I might as well find my way to the Calabar Jazz Festival.

Stop telling me,I can’t be all this and all that.You know I stopped to look at the mirror lately,guess who I saw. I saw me,I didn’t see my significant other half,I saw me. I didn’t see my Children,I saw me!!

I saw only me,standing in front of the mirror.From here on,I am going to live my life because it is “golden”.  I will live this beautiful life of mine consciously,intentionally and purposefully. I will make my mistakes,and move on,I will run through troops and celebrate my victories great and small.

I will live this life  for me,I will savour each moment and cherish the memories,but I will never let you live it for me. I will no longer live it for you.  This is my LIFE!
