Feeling blessed again!

Sometimes back, about a few weeks precisely my darling Friend, Sister Jackie wrote about some bloggers whining about their stats, readers and all those stuff that we bloggers worry about.

As I carefully read through each line and in all honesty, I found guilty of some whinings too. It was not just the about a blogger complaining alone, she made clear some points about the why of blogging, what do you want your readers to get when they come to your site and everything else. On the overall she pointed out some things about being out there and mingling with other bloggers, we just a blast this past weekend 🙂 shout out to other bloggers who rocked the party. Sharing is caring, Network, great content, originality, and authenticity were some of the points she highlighted.

I learned a few tips from there, Today I am feeling blessed and dancing right now because on this very day my followership stats reached 200.

To have 200 followers on WordPress is not “Moin-Moin” like we say in my local dialects which means having 200 people follow you is not a joke at all. It’s a huge responsibility. I am feeling so overwhelmed with Joy that people actually find my blog worthwhile to want to come and read what I post on a daily basis, and even take the risk of following this Naija gal!

I am grateful for the love and support I receive from every one of you, thank you so much for believing in me, because if you don’t believe in me, you wouldn’t bother being on my list. I truly appreciate every one of you, which I could mention y’all by name :).

I am getting better by the day with this writing journey, all because you are always there to support, show me love, and critic my work when necessary. I am learning to be open minded even when my opinion is not embraced by all. I am learning to let my voice be heard because I have something to say that will help encourage, inspire and at some point bring healing and transformation to me, and to you!

Despite the fact that I can’t mention everybody, I want to say a big thank you to lokeshguruu for being my 200th follower. A big hug from me to you.
