I am a lover of music, with my favourite genres being Alternative, Reggae, R&B, Neo-soul and Jazz. I generally, though not exclusively, listen to Christian/Gospel music because it feeds and uplifts my spirit. Music does so much for me, and not just listening to it, but I also enjoy performing and creating music as I sing and write songs.

I’d like to share the following poem with you as my tribute to MUSIC!

You give me music

Translating the twists and turns,

the ups and downs of my emotions,

The tears, the excitement, the longing and the pain

are transformed into words

Words that dance around on beautiful notes,

That make them feel so alive in my head

And then they flow into the hum of my voice,

the tingling in my fingers and the tap of my toes to the rhythm

Of the music

And then …It escapes from my lips,
