There’s so much information out there on how to reinvent your life, and while they are quite helpful, it can also be overwhelming sifting through them
What I have found out is that it’s best if you take what works for you and apply it.
For example in one of Benjamin Hardy’s posts, he highlights many tips to living the happy life.One of such tips is the Cold Shower Bath-bathing with cold water every now and then.
He states that the use of a cold bath has numerous benefits, this struck me and I decided to give it a try.
When I did, I was really excited about the soothing feeling and the sensation I felt on my skin.
Needless to say that ever since I have been using Ice cubes(a lot of them too) in my bath water, so much so that my sons have tried it too. I was amazed at some of the things I discovered.
Whenever I feel tensed or worked up, and can’t figure out the cause of my uneasiness, I just drop huge chunks of Ice into the bathtub, fill it with water, and spend some time soaking in the coolness.
This sends soothing vibes to my brain and before long, my mood changes. It’s as if the cold water has a tickling sensation and I don’t when I end letting out a giggle.
You could try this for the fun of it, and it could even act as a cool remedy for the Lagos heat.Even hubby has joined our ice-cold shower club. So, I now keep bowls of water in the freezer, and when the heat is unbearable, I just throw them in the bathtub and literally chill out!
Apart from the soothing effects, here are some health benefits associated with the ice-cold shower.
Increase Alertness-The rush of blood through the entire body caused by the ice-cold shower gives a boost of energy that lasts the entire day. I had a cold bath the previous night and up till the time of writing this post, I still feel energised.

Improves Immunity and circulation-Cold water can improve circulation by encouraging blood flow surrounding our organs. It also helps to lower blood pressure
