Random Musing #15

There is this adage from my homeland, it is often said as a prayer. They say it is difficult for any human being to cover the radiance and glory of the sun. It is believed that there is no attempt by anyone to try and stop the sun from shining.

As a result of this truth, I concluded that nothing can hinder the purpose of Sun, which is to give light all across the earth regardless of Timezone. If that is the case, then nothing should stand against or hinder you and me from fulfilling our purposes on earth.

I took this picture on one of the road trips, during my second visit to Israel, as we were returning back to the Hotel,I watched as the sun was gradually gravitating downwards as if it was giving way to the dark clouds coming towards its.

It was such a beautiful site and couldn’t resist clicking the camera button.  I was practicing the new app which allows one to write on photos. I saw the picture again and this quote jumped at me from nowhere

The sun rises and the sun sets, fulfilling its purpose without hindrance.

Psalm 19:1-2,

The heavens declare the glory of the Lord…..Day after day they pour forth speech…

If the Sun knows how to rise and how to set without complaints, without excuses, without hindrance. You and I, made in the likeness of God, must not be hindered from fulfilling our life’s call irrespective of the challenges we may be facing.
